Staff and students, alike, will come together today at the University of Wyoming in Laramie to share ideas and present research, and the public is welcome to attend.
Interim Dean Michael Day, of the college of education, said today's scholarship and research symposium is an annual event that highlights the work and accomplishments of faculty and graduate students. He gave us the background on the event during a recent interview.
Suzanne Young, who teaches statistics at the state's university, said she'll be making a presentation with one of her graduate students.
The symposium runs from 8-4 and features a keynote address by Richard Crandall, who is the director of the Wyoming Department of Education. No admission will be charged to attend any or all of the presentations.
