For many years now, the Ucross Foundation has provided residency opportunities for artists, writers and musicians. Recently, the Foundation began a collaboration with Sheridan College; Foundation Director Sharon Dynak explains.
The next composer to share her music is Du Yun of Shanghai, China. She will visit classes at the college this summer, says keyboard professor Chris Erikson.
Yun will be playing and conversing with the audience this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Sheridan College C-Tel Presentation Hall. It is free and open to the public.
