The Ucross Foundation will host an all day macro photography workshop in early June featuring photographer Elizabeth Stone from Missoula, Montana. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.
Macro photography is defined as photographing subjects using close-up techniques, that yield images larger than the subject's actual size. To achieve this type of photography, specialty lenses and unique photographic strategies are usually part of the equation.
Ucross Foundation Intern Liza Birnbaum explains the details of the upcoming workshop.
The workshop will run from 9 am to 6 pm Saturday, June 9th, and will cost $95 per person to attend. Birnbaum says that they are asking those interested to RSVP by Monday, June 4th, and that class size is limited to 16 participants. Reservations may be made by calling (307) 737-2291, or by email at intern@ucross.org.
