Two of Three Armed Robbery Suspects Bound Over to District Court

Gerald "Jessie" Hamlin and Dillon Sutherlin each had their Preliminary Hearing in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday morning. Hamlin was charged on February 1st for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and given a $75,000 cash-only bond. He was bound over to District Court yesterday.

Sutherlin was charged February 4th for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Accessory Before the Fact and given a $25,000 cash bond. Sutherlin was also bound over to District Court yesterday.

John "JJ" Hatch was the third person involved in the incident; he waived his right to a Speedy Preliminary Hearing, and a new date has not yet been set. The District Court dates for Hamlin and Sutherlin have also not been set.

Hamlin, Sutherlin and Hatch were involved in an armed robbery on January 30th at the home of David Simmons, where they beat Simmons with a loaded assault rifle and stole some drugs.
