RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Two teenagers accused of killing a man and beating a woman on a bike trail have been bound over to district court for trial in Riverton. Circuit Court Judge Wesley Roberts ruled that the case against 16-year-old Santana Mendoza and 15-year-old John Potter, both of Riverton, should proceed.
Both teens face second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder charges in the Sept. 4 death of 25-year-old David Ronald Moss Jr., and the beating of Aleeah Crispin. They were found together on the Rails to Trails pathway on the edge of Riverton. Crispin remains in a coma at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
