Attendance at the Buffalo Senior Center's Holiday Bazaar Craft Show Friday and Saturday was less than hoped, but Activities Director Sally Frost said the weather may have had something to do with the turnout.
The event gives area seniors a chance to sell their arts and crafts to the public and gives the public a chance to meet the seniors and to purchase a hand-made gift for the Holidays. Tables in both the main dining hall and the conference room of the senior center were full of items, including clothing, baby blankets, framed photos of area scenery and jewelry.
Frost said although disappointed with the turnout Saturday morning, she expected things to pick up during the lunch hour as people came in to sample chili and cinnamon rolls. And as expected, more people did begin filling the Senior Center around noon, but no complete tally was available as of this morning.
