The Tongue River Valley Community Center has renovated the existing youth room at its Ranchester location as they look to offer more to teenagers.

TRVCC Executive Director Erin Kilbride says they had some donors and volunteers who wanted to help remodel the room and expand its offerings.

She added that the TRVCC mission involves providing educational, recreational, social and cultural opportunities for the residents of the valley and providing for area teenagers is at the top of their list. They plan to open more in the evenings and on Thursday and Friday nights.

Christmas break begins this week for all Tongue River students, and the Community Center will offer two youth “teen” nights next week to kick off the opening of the center. There will be a middle school night on the 28th and a night for high school students on the 29th. Both nights are free.
