We're just six days away from Christmas, and the next week of course is New Year's Eve. The good folks at Tongue River Valley Community Center would like parents to know that they are providing a kid-friendly New Year's Eve party for young people while the big people go out to celebrate with other adults.

In a media release from Deanna Varela, TRVCC Activities Director, all kids ages 7 to 14 are invited to a New Year's Eve “Lock-In” party at the center in Dayton. Cost is $25 per child to cover cost of paying staff, building fees and to provide snacks.

Parents will be required to fill out an emergency waiver upon payment or arrival. Kids need to have a change of clothes, pajamas, a sleeping bag and any other nighttime items they may need.

During awake hours, there will be lots of activities, games and snacks. There is only room for fifty kids, and prepay must be by December 23rd to get your reservation held. To reserve your spot or if you have questions, call Deanna Varela at 655-9191.
