Children with the Tongue River Valley Community Center After School Program made a very special donation Wednesday to the Sheridan Homeless Shelter. After School Program Coordinator Deanna Verela says the students choose to give back to the community as part of a service learning project.

Verela said that there were about 20 kids that helped make the blankets and pillow cases, and that the students raised the funds for the materials by making and selling crafts at the Tongue River/Big Horn basketball game.
