Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson brings us this story about a special week coming up for Tongue River High School.

Tongue River High School Seniors Henry Rawlings, Josie Crackenberger and Taylor Matthews are members of Family Career and Community Leaders of America, or FCCLA. They are spearheading a week-long series of activities beginning February 21st, with the message of Suicide Prevention as the focus.

Rawlings explains the significance of the week for them.

Crackenberger outlines what they will be doing through the week.

The speaker, James Ednie from Cheyenne, has quite a story to share, she tells us.

Rawlings says they've been careful in planning this week.

The public is invited to attend James Ednie's presentation on Wednesday; he will be at Tongue River High School at 10 a.m. and at Tongue River Middle School at 1 p.m. There will also be counselors in attendance after Ednie's speech to be available to speak with anyone who may need their services.

Suicide affects everyone, and these young people are doing their part to help their community heal, and to hopefully never experience this pain again.
