Johnson County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer brought an Acceptance Certification to the commissioners for their signatures so he can get that back to WyDOT for them to close the Trabing Road paving project. He also gave an update on where the project now sits.
Commissioner Jim Hicks asked if there were any outstanding problems or issues with the project, and Pehringer explained.
Pehringer said the $6.3 million project cost roughly $736,000 per mile to complete.
The project came in $527,000 under budget, according to Pehringer, with all county money being spent. This money, if unused, will revert back to the county, earmarked as funds for future road projects.
Pehringer explains more about the funds and where they could be spent.
The commissioners voted to approve and sign the Acceptance Certification.
