The Dayton Town Council approved the 3rd and final reading of an ordinance that will enforce the rules and regulations of the town's raw water system when complete. Dayton Mayor Bob Wood.
Residents will be charged ten dollars a month for the service, which will run April through October depending on the weather. The raw water system will allow residents the use on non-potable water for irrigation purposes, such as watering lawns.
Wood said that the contractor has informed him that work on the system is ahead of schedule and could be complete this fall, meaning the raw water system would be ready for use in the spring of 2010.
