Wednesday night, Sheridan College in Johnson County will present Todd Cornell sharing his experiences during his 20 years living in China.
Artwork that he collected during his time there is currently on display and will continue to be shown through the end of May in the lobby of the college.
Cornell's presentation will be in the Buffalo Theater next door to SCJC and will begin at 6:30pm.
Cornell tells us more about what his 20 years in Asia was like.
He tells us what to expect at the presentation.
Cornell said the artwork on display is a collection he made very early in his stay in China and consists of traditional Chinese scrolls, traditional paintings, Peking Opera Robes, Mongolian robes, and some extra things especially for the reception that won't be on display at any other time.
The presentation will be Wednesday at the Buffalo Theater at 6:30 with a reception to follow afterwards in the lobby of the college.
SCJC will be offering a Mandarin language class in the fall and they asked Cornell to give the presentation to kick off the program.
