With the 4th of July holiday just about upon us, we thought we'd check in with the Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan for some tips on keeping your pets safe during a big weekend of fireworks. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
The 4th of July may be fun for us two legged mammals, it can be very stressful for our four legged friends. Dog and Cat Shelter Director Cel Hope says it's best to keep your pets inside and secure during the weekend festivities.
If your pet does get loose, or you happen to find a stray pet, Hope said that you can call the Shelter and leave a message anytime throughout the holiday weekend.
While the Shelter may be closed for the holiday, Cel said that staff will be on hand checking messages both Saturday and Sunday.
