Time and what we do with it from getting up in the morning until we go to bed at night is the focus of this week's Brown Bag Seminar.
The luncheon event will start at 12:10 tomorrow at Sheridan College's facilities on Main Street. The seminar is open free to anyone who wants to attend, and no registration is required.
Family Counselor Lynn Gordon of Sheridan conducts the weekly seminars. She says the subject of how we use time is not only about our activities but about what's in our minds.
Programs are given on the second, third and fourth Wednesdays each month. This month's focus on self-care – which will be the topic of the seminar on March 26.
The counselor will focus on personal growth and change in the April seminars. People who wish to attend the events are invited to bring sack lunches. There is no need to register. Gordon is with the Family and Personal Counseling Center of Sheridan, and the seminars are hosted by Sheridan College and the Center for Workforce and Community Education.
