The Sheridan Fire-Rescue Department was the scene Tuesday morning of a remembrance ceremony to honor those that were lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. Firefighters, law enforcement and emergency service personnel along with their friends and family were on hand for the ceremony. Sheridan Fire-Rescue Chief Terry Lenhart.
Almost 3,000 people died on that tragic day 11 years ago, as four commercial airplanes were hijacked, resulting in the worst terrorist attack that has ever occurred on U.S. soil.
