Three Sheridan Students Receive Daniels Fund Scholarships

The Daniels Fund has announced that 24 high school seniors from Wyoming have been named Daniels Scholars and will receive funding to attend the college or university of their choice. Daniels Fund Vice-President Peter Droege explains that several of those scholarships have been awarded to students in Sheridan.

The three seniors from Sheridan to receive scholarships are; Ransom Tate Bearden; Kelley Hildebrand-Hall and Karsyn Lamb. Droege explains how the students are chosen for the scholarship, and how the scholarship can be used.

Droege emphasized that the Daniels Scholarship is not a full ride, but a supplement to all other financial aid resources, including Pell Grants available to the student. He added that after other financial resources have been applied, the Daniels Scholarship covers all required tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies and a variety of other miscellaneous expenses.
