Sheridan's first Third Thursday Street Festival kicks off in downtown Sheridan tomorrow.
Downtown Sheridan Association Director Stacie Coe said a little over 100 vendors will participate. Main Street from Loucks to Alger, and Grinnell Plaza, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5 until 9 Thursday afternoon.
The association director said an '80s cover band, Sidetrack, will provide music during the event. Third Thursday is an evening of entertainment, food, street vendors and a chance to shop in the downtown stores that stay open late for the event.
The event is on the third Thursday of every month through September, and is hosted by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Sheridan Association.
