Sheridan's Centennial Theaters on Alger Street will have showings Christmas afternoon and into the evening. Shows on the bill, as of today, include Will Ferrell's “Anchorman 2,” Disney's animated “Frozen” and Tom Hanks' film, “Saving Mr. Banks,” “Walking with Dinosaurs,” The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” Films are running today, too. Now, if the visiting relatives are looking for something else to do this afternoon, the Sheridan County Museum and gift shop will be open, from 1-3. The museum will close for the season beginning Christmas Day, and is expected to remain closed to the public until the spring.
The Sheridan County libraries are closed for the Christmas holiday, both today and tomorrow, but the Sheridan County Fulmer Library will re-open Thursday for regular hours, which are 9-9, then from 9-5 Friday and Saturday and 1-5 on Sunday.
