During his State of the State address this week, Governor Matt Mead talked about the need to diversify our economy. He said that there has been significant growth the last couple of years in broadband connectivity in Wyoming and that the state continues to work on keeping and recruiting data centers and other hi-tech businesses. Mead used a Sheridan business as an example of diversifying the economy.

Mead said that it's imperative that Wyoming continue to develop and attract tech businesses so that we can retain our youth.
