Although the winter weather advisory was cancelled earlier than expected yesterday, the remnants of our first blast of winter weather this season are still lingering. Most of the roads are still slick with ice from Saturday's storm, so please be careful out there.

There is a black ice advisory on U.S. 16 West of Buffalo, between between Buffalo and Ucross and on U.S.14-16 between Ucross and the Campbell County line. There is also a black ice advisory on U.S. 18 between U.S. 85 and the South Dakota Border.

As of Sunday afternoon, there is scattered slush and ice on the southernmost portion of I-90 from Sheridan. If you are heading out of town this weekend, be sure to check the above links to know what to expect. In the Sheridan area, no more precipitation is expected - but it will drop to 9 degrees tonight.
