It was a food tasting festival extravaganza Sunday afternoon as hundreds showed up for the 6th annual Taste of Sheridan. Held on the infield of Thorne-Rider Park, ten local restaurants sold 'tastes' of their in-house specialties.
Nancy Silla is chairman for the event. She says “Taste of Sheridan” showcases what's available locally.
It's also a fundraiser, done in good taste, with part of the proceeds to benefit the North Main Neighborhood Association.
The food was fabulous with samples like beef tenderloin, mango shrimp, and grilled salmon. Kathie Smith and Mareesa Frank thought it was a great way to feature our local restaurants.
Music, food, a beer and wine garden plus inflatables for the kids, there was something for everyone.
