A third annual Sheridan-themed eating-fest will be available at Thorne Rider Stadium this Sunday. North Main Neighborhood Association Executive Director Dave Debolt tells us about Taste of Sheridan.
Last year's winner was the kitchen from Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Debolt and NMNA Chair Nancy Drummond talk about last year's winner.
Some of this year's 16 food vendors will include, Sidewalk Cafe, The Pony, for the first time; Remington's at the Powder Horn, Students from Wyoming Culinary Institute, Oliva's Kitchen, Oliver's Bar and Grill, Breckenridge Market, Bagel Express, 1893 Grille & Spirits, and Killy's Smokehouse Deli.
Each vendor will have three to four different offerings.
Debolt talked about the set up and live music for this year's event.
It's free to get into the event and listen to the music, and ticket books for food can be purchased for $15 for a sheet of 10 tickets. One ticket buys a taste-sized portion from a vendor, and some bigger tastes may require two tickets. The event will last from 3-7 pm Sunday.
Proceeds from the event go to support NMNA projects to revitalize the North Main area. Check out our story Saturday morning (Aug. 13) on a big part of that work that is finally coming to fruition on North Main.
