Swine Flu Cases Rise In Sheridan County

There is a change in the number of laboratory confirmed cases of swine flu in Sheridan County. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

There are now three lab confirmed cases of swine flu in Sheridan County and 106 cases statewide. Wyoming Department of Health Public Information Officer Kim Deti says the numbers are misleading, as they suspect the actual numbers to be higher than what's confirmed.

Deti indicated that there hasn't been any fatalities related to swine flu in the state that they know about.

Deti said that most of the cases have been very similar to the seasonal flu, and that people should take the same precautions to avoid the swine flu as they do regular influenza.
