Commission Considers Zoning, Library Surveys

Johnson County's Commissioners have discussed hiring a company to perform surveys of the public to gather opinions on zoning regulations, and now would like to “piggy-back” surveys for the YMCA replacement and library expansion projects.

Commissioner Jim Hicks volunteered to look into the company hired by the YMCA for their recent survey to see if they would be interested in doing the same for the county commissioners.

Hicks will be using a list of companies contacted by the YMCA Board, along with the top three they interviewed.
He will compile the information and bring it back before they commissioners within a month, he said, for further discussions.
