The Sheridan Fire Rescue Public Education Committee conceived a plan to have a public input survey, which was unveiled at this year's Big Horn Homebuilder's Home Show. Fire Marshal Brian Songer says they received over 200 responses from the community.

Songer said that the three categories in the survey included services, programs and training.

In a related matter, as part of National Emergency Medical Services week, Sheridan Fire Rescue is holding an open house this Saturday.

The Sheridan Fire Rescue open house will be Saturday, May 22nd from 10 am to 2 pm at the Fire Station at 151 South Scott Street. There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers for the public beginning at noon.
