A survey intended to gauge the feasibility for an entrepreneurial center in Downtown Sheridan will be closing soon. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
Earlier this month we reported that the Downtown Sheridan Association had retained Community Builders, Inc. out of Casper to conduct the study. As part of the process, the D-S-A has been conducting an online survey of community members and downtown merchants. As of Thursday, they have had nearly 140 survey responses. D-S-A Executive Director Stacie Coe.
Coe added that an entrepreneurial center is a start-up business center with office, retail or other complementary spaces for rent to new or expanding businesses. She said that after the survey closes, the consultant will compile all of the results and present them to D-S-A's economic restructuring committee, as well as the steering committee. The committees will then begin evaluating specific development projects, facilities, and scenarios for improving the downtown district.
