Candidates for the Superintendent of Public Instruction were on hand at this week's candidate forum at Sheridan College that was sponsored by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

Four candidates in total are running for the superintendent position, three of them are Republican, Bill Winney, Jillian Balow, and Sheryl Lain, while the lone Democrat is Mike Ceballos.

One of the questions that was posed to the candidates at the forum was what role should the Legislature have in regard to education? The first to answer the question was Jillian Balow.

Sheryl Lain offered her opinion next.

Candidate Mike Ceballos.

Lastly, Bill Winney had this to say.
