It's a tradition in Sheridan County to wrap up fair week with a pig wrestling contest. Fill a pool with water and bentonite and throw in a pig with pig catchers and besides the mess, you have something to behold.

Easier said than done, especially when the porkers reach 175 pounds for the men and womens divisions. There was something for everyone. Little people could wrestle little piglets and and as the age went up so did the size of the pig.
Some teams tried to sneak up on the pigs; others took off full bore to get their pigs in the barrel. But oh, the squeals from those hogs once caught.
The team from LaBella Salon took first in the women's division. Michelle McPeak wasn't about to share their pig wrestling secrets.
