The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, got an update from City Planner Zach Montgomery on the status of the Crazy Woman Square redevelopment project.
Montgomery said the project has reached substantial completion, and only a handful of “punch-list” items need to be completed before the project will be done.
The project is close to $100,000 under budget and some of those funds will be used to refurbish the Heritage Bridge adjacent to the square, after being approved by the council.
Montgomery explains more about where the project is now and the punch-list items that will be completed before the end of the year.
A few projects, such as applying stucco to Margo's Pottery Building in preparation of the new mural, adding bronze sculptures, and completing the second mural will be completed in the summer of 2013.
