The clearwell expansion project at the Big Goose Water Treatment Plant has reached substantial completion status. SAWS Project Manager Dan Coughlin says it's pretty much all systems go.
The 1.5 million gallon underground water storage tank was constructed to increase the storage of treated water at the Big Goose treatment plant. The project cost $ 2.78 million, 67 percent of which was funded by a Wyoming Water Development Grant. The City of Sheridan funded 27 percent of the project while the Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board funded the remainder 6 percent.
