Sheridan High School Drama Students will present a Showcase tonight at 7:30 in the Sue Henry Auditorium. The performances highlight the competition pieces they took to State Drama in December.

Last December, about fifteen students in the SHS Drama Department competed at Wyoming State Drama, and tonight, the public is invited to enjoy a Drama Showcase highlighting their work.

Drama Club sponsor, Aaron Odom, has the details.

As for the performed pieces on stage in the Sue Henry Auditorium, Odom says.

The “Check Please” competition piece took 2nd Place at State. Odom says that they also brought home several All-State Honors and Honorable Mentions.

Along with the work the students have done to prepare for performing, they are also involved in Drama Club at the school.

The house will open for tonight's Drama Showcase at 7 o'clock, with the performance starting at 7:30. Admission at the door is $5, with proceeds going to the fund set up for preparing the 2011 State Drama pieces later this fall.
