Students from the marketing class at Sheridan High School made a special donation Friday morning. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the
story.

For the past four years, the marketing class students have sold pink Sheridan Bronc t-shirts during the month of October to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The proceeds from the sale of those shirts have been donated every year to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation. Prior to touring the Welch Cancer Center Friday, the students presented a check to Foundation Executive Director Ada Kirven, who says the donation is so much more than just a dollar amount.

Kirven expressed her gratitude toward Kathleen Pilch, who teaches the marketing class.

The donation from the students totaled $3,126, as they sold 728 shirts in a matter of a few days in October.
