Storm gutters were full and winds drove rain sideways for a few minutes Friday evening in Sheridan. The storm didn’t last long enough to do major damage but some areas of town were affected more than others. Cloud to ground lightning struck a tree in south Sheridan near Brundage Lane and some areas of the foothills reported large hail stones. Meteorologist Albert Richmond with the National Weather Service tells us what’s in store for the next few days.
Temperatures on Saturday aren't even expected to reach 60 degrees. There was nearly one half-inch of rain that fell around 7:15 Friday night. The top recorded wind gust was 52 miles an hour.
