The summer street festival held every third Thursday in Sheridan is starting up again this week, a month earlier than last year. Program Coordinator for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, Teresa Detimore, says that's not the only new thing in this year's festival:
She says it was also a great boon for downtown businesses and that a lot of tourists also commented on how much they liked the festival:
Also, those who like to cook may want to dust off grandma's secret recipe soon, because this year's festival will also have several more cook-off competitions:
Sheridan's Main Street will be open for pedestrians and shoppers, but closed for traffic Thursday evening from 5 to 9 o'clock.
