The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Sheridan has added something new to their itinerary this year, as there will be a special sculpture dedication as part of the ceremony. City of Sheridan Public Arts Committee Chair Fachon Wilson explains.

And not too far in the future is the 10th annual Celebrate the Arts that will be June 9th through the 11th. Wilson says that they are expecting this year's batch of on-loan art to be arriving in the days leading up to Celebrate the Arts.

We'll have more on Celebrate the Arts as we get closer to its kickoff on June 9th. The Memorial Day Parade in Ceremony will be on Main Street in downtown Sheridan, starting at Dow Street and ending at the County Courthouse for a wreath ceremony. The ceremonies reconvene at 11:30 am at the entrance to the cemetery, which will include a reading of the names of Sheridan area veterans who died in the past year.
