Now that the 62nd Wyoming State Legislature is in the books, Sheridan Media's Ron Richter had a chance to catch up with Representative Rosie Berger to get her take on the session.
When the session closed this past Thursday, legislative leaders described the crafting of the supplemental budget bill as a means of making Wyoming thrive, not just survive. Representative Rosie Berger.
Berger says that legislators this year produced one of the leanest and most responsible supplemental budget bills in recent years.
The funding bill includes an additional $20 million appropriated for local communities and more than $110 million for capital construction, landfills and fire suppression.
