Community College Presidents Continue to Meet Monthly

The seven community colleges in Wyoming are all independent of each other, which means they are independently accredited and independently governed. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young says that the colleges have always been somewhat competitive amongst each other.

Young stated that he and the other community college presidents have been working together on developing a more unified front when making presentations to the state.

Young said that they are also working on additional state investment for salaries of faculty and staff that will be presented to the State Legislature next year during their budget session.
