Stars Of Tomorrow Shine In Buffalo, Top Two Move on

The Buffalo Kiwanis Club's 55th Annual Stars of Tomorrow contest was held Sunday afternoon at the Buffalo High School Auditorium.

Steve Reimann, Secretary of the Buffalo Kiwanis, said there were over 30 acts signed up for the contest this year, and the top two acts in the Senior Division will move on to the Divisional Competition this weekend for a chance to go to the Regional Competition in Colorado.
The top two acts in the Senior Division were Ashley Seymour, Becca Flanders, Kadelyn Burd, Spencer Walter and Josh Roerig for their vocal performance; and Jeremiah Tabb for his vocal/guitar performance.

Buffalo will host the Divisional Competition this Saturday, March 23rd at 2pm at BHS.
The Divisional Competition encompasses winners from the entire northern half of the state.
The winners in the Divisional Competition will move on to Regionals in Colorado.
Admission to the Divisional Competition is $5 for adults and $2 for students.

Winners for the three Divisions were:
Junior (K-5th grade), 1. Maxima Wuerkers; 2. Ben Camino; and 3. Sterling Harness and Emma Mahofsky.
Intermediate (6th-8th grade), 1. Ellie Rinkert; 2. Mariah Robinson; and 3. Jonathan Barnum.
Senior (9th-12th grade), 1. Ashley Seymour, Becca Flanders, Kadelyn Burd, Spencer Walter and Josh Roerig for their vocal performance; 2. Jeremiah Tabb for his vocal/guitar performance; and 3. Jackson Booth, Ken Burns, Nolan Leibee and Jeremiah Tabb for their instrumental music performance.
