Halfway through the 62nd Wyoming Legislature, the decision to remove many of the duties of the state superintendent of public instruction has probably been the biggest story so far, or at least the issue that's generated the most attention. During a recent interview with Sheridan Media, Senator John Schiffer told this story about Governor Matt Mead and Department of Education Interim Director Jim Rose paying a visit to the Department of Ed.

The issue of stripping Superintendent Cindy Hill of her duties isn't one that will be going away anytime soon, as we reported Thursday that District Judge Thomas Campbell will hear arguments March 14th in regard to the lawsuit filed by Hill claiming the law is unconstitutional.
