Johnson County Kids ages 4 through fourth grade will have the opportunity to shop for their families for Christmas thanks to the St. Luke's Lutheran Church's Christmas Kids Shoppe.

The kids in Buffalo, Kaycee, Arvada and Clearmont are given golden tickets which are good for admission to the free shopping day at the shoppe.

Julia Bettinger, who helps put the Kids Shoppe on, explains more about how it works.

Approximately 400 kids can shop for free for mom and dad, brothers, sisters, and even grandma and grandpa at the Christmas Kids' Shoppe, which began last Saturday and will end this Saturday, December 14th. The shoppe will be open from 9am to 1pm.

Family members can enjoy refreshments upstairs while their kids are shopping. Refreshments are free and are also made and donated by volunteers.

If anyone wishes to contribute to the Christmas Kids Shoppe, contact Bettinger or St. Lukes Lutheran Church at (307) 760-8909 or 684-7872.
