The Sheridan Police Department will hold another Prescription Drug Takeback Day Saturday, October 29th at Walgreens.
SPD's Steve Johnson says that the number one thing taken in home burglaries in Sheridan recently has been prescription drugs.
Nationwide, 188 tons of prescription drugs were gathered as part of the program when a takeback day was held in April. This is SPD's third time participating.
They will accept drugs at Walgreens Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
