The Wyoming Secretary of State's Office has issued an alert to warn all Wyoming business owners of a deceptive solicitation letter that has surfaced in many states nearby Wyoming, including Colorado. Secretary of State Max Maxfield.
Maxfield stated that while the scam has not yet surfaced in the Cowboy State, he wanted to get the word out to businesses before any such scam should show up. He also indicated that if any business receives a letter that seems questionable, to contact his office immediately at 1-307-777-7370.
