Construction has begun on the Soldier Ridge Trail, a single track, publicly accessible non-motorized trail just west of Sheridan City limits. A crew with the Montana Conservation Corps has completed 1.2 miles of the 4.5 mile trail. Sheridan County Land Trust Executive Director Colin Betzler says that they are looking for a few good hands to help with additional trail work that will begin this upcoming Monday.

Betzler explains that not all of the trail needs to be constructed.

Betzler said that following trail construction, the next phase will be to construct a trailhead and to design and install trail signage. If you would like to help volunteer on the Soldier Ridge Trail, you can contact Betzler at 307-673-4702 or you can email him at director@sheridanclt.org
