Wellness screenings offered by Sheridan Memorial Hospital to the general public are still taking place through Friday. The main test, the blood chemistry/lipid-direct LDL screen, provides information used by healthcare providers to measure a person's overall health.
Hospital Communications Director, Cecile Pattison, describes the purpose of that particular test, which costs $50.
Pattison says walk-in appointments are welcome Friday between 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., as long as participants have fasted for 12 hours prior to the screening. The screenings will take place in the lobby of the hospital.
