The Skyview West Subdivision was the topic of a City of Sheridan Planning Commission work session Monday night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

Prior to their regularly scheduled meeting, the Planning Commission listened to a presentation by Developer Ron Patterson, as he discussed the new approach that is being envisioned with the proposed subdivision that is located at the northeast corner of Brundage Lane and Bighorn Avenue in Sheridan.

Patterson said that the project includes within it a total of 36 dwelling units.

Patterson indicated that the next step will be to prepare a planned unit development site plan and preliminary plat to bring before the Planning Commission and City Council. He added that dirt work will begin this fall with the hopes of construction getting underway in spring of 2015. The work session was intended to be a joint meeting between the commission and city council, however, no members of the council were in attendance.
