Six More Years for Great Lakes Airlines

Great Lakes Airlines has renewed its contract with the Sheridan County Airport for another six years. Airport Manager, John Stopka, took the opportunity to reassure the Sheridan County commissioners the airline is an independent agency, and though the airport is maintained by the county, Great Lakes is not subsidized by tax dollars.

Last month, Great Lakes reported a 16 percent decline in business from the Sheridan area from year, and acknowledged the loss of business to competing airlines in Casper and Gilette.
