The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a winter storm warning through noon on Saturday for the Sheridan foothills. Meteorologist Joe Lester says that this is shaping up to be the first big snow event of the year for our area.
Lester says that this storm has the potential to produce some dangerous conditions throughout the region.
Lester indicated that the snowfall should begin to let up early to mid afternoon Saturday, with the system most likely to be out of the area by Saturday night.
