SHS Students Sit in on Legislative Forum

Juniors and Seniors from Sheridan High School that are taking American Government and AP Government had a chance to sit in on some of Thursday's legislative forum at Sheridan City Hall. Sheridan High School Government Teacher Tyson Emborg says the forum is a unique way for his students to witness government up close and personal.

The students sat in on the City of Sheridan presentation conducted by Mayor Dave Kinskey during Thursday afternoon's session. They had a chance to hear about how the City's budget works and how the funds allocated by the state are used for day to day City operations.
