Shots Fired in Cheyenne Over $60

Authorities say a Cheyenne man faces felony charges because he is suspected of firing shots at an apartment complex over an argument about $60.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports that 27-year-old Larry A. Turner is charged with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Authorities say the shooting happened Sunday night and that eight shots were fired. No one was injured.

Turner told investigators someone at the apartment complex owed him $60. Turner told investigators a friend was the one who fired the shots, but detectives have questioned his story.

Turner made a court appearance Wednesday and is being held at the Laramie County jail on $50,000 bail. He's due in court again Dec. 6.
